Title: Exploring Apprenticeship Programs

Description:

Join us as we welcome Ms. Natalie Fox and Dr. Dianne Leveridge. Ms. Fox, the Apprenticeship Coordinator for a career and technical high school in South Carolina, will discuss her school’s successful partnership with MTU, a German-owned manufacturer of large diesel engines. Dr. Leveridge will share information on KYFAME (pronounced Kentucky FAME), a fairly new but hugely successful program that builds partnerships between industry and community college students. Her program only started 18 months ago with a single partnership between Toyota and one community college and now it has grown to nearly 100 employers and 8 community colleges. Learn about their programs and how you could start something similar at your school!

This webinar is the seventh in a series covering aspects of NC3T’s Pathways System Framework™ with a special focus on Cross Sector Partnerships.
